Brandon Roy says he is "doubtful" for Clippers game on Tuesday; Boston game on Friday is "more realistic" By Jason Quick, The Oregonian February 15, 2010, 8:08PM Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy said Monday night that he is doubtful he will play Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers because of his nagging right hamstring injury. Roy has missed 14 games because of the hamstring. Roy said he won't make a decision on his status for the Clippers game until after Tuesday's morning shootaround and perhaps a pregame workout at the Rose Garden. He said a "more realistic" return will be Friday against Boston at the Rose Garden. "How I feel tomorrow will play a factor, but even then, I still think we will look toward Friday as a more of a real date of when I can play,'' Roy said. Roy did take part in the entire Blazers practice Monday night and said he felt better, but also still experienced some tightness. "I was able to play and make moves, and I didn't feel that tightness where I had to stop,'' Roy said. "That was a good sign. That's why I will wait until tomorrow and see how I feel when I wake up.''
