Your team isnt worth sh*t so youre in no position to make fun of another team when they lose. The Knicks are absolutely pitiful, so a team losing in the second round while still getting a split on the road, stealing homecourt advantage doesnt seem like something you should be laughing at in your position. Maybe if you stopped being a shithead you wouldnt hear the Knicks comments..</div>shut up. i hear the knicks comments only when people disagree. you're a shithead for bringin the knicks into the situation. i don't care that you hate them but it has nothing to do with your boys losing 22 points so don't bring it up. i know the knicks did bad and so does everyone else. that's the only thing people say against me.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (hoopskidd5 @ May 10 2006, 10:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Tell me this is an appropriate response in a thread where he has had nothing to contribute. I just quoted Hookskidd because that was the latest post when you two were fighting. I meant it for the both of you. The fighting has to stop.
i didn't wanna fight he just got me mad with the knicks comment. he's being a little child and can't take a joke.
i did actually but you must've glanced over it. i said it's prob gonna be a 7 game series and you don't know what team is gonna show up in game 3. there's my contribution :yess:
I really hope the Nets win this series...but im dying for next season to come. We are not winning the championship with this team. Next season, according to reports, K-Mart is looking to come back. Man I cant wait. :worthy:
Dream Scenario:K-Mart forces buy out with Denver, becomes a free agent, resigns with NJ for a much cheaper contract..
That would be great. Since hes been at games 1-2, you think he would go to game 3 in jersey? Imagine the chants he would get if they showed he was in the crowd.
Every time I pass CAA I hear the Ken-yon Mar-tin chants and think back of the time he spent with the team. I hope he can come back to us and join our improved team..
Thats a true net fan right there. Man remember the signs? "K-Mart's Crew" The chants. O man I loved those days. I remember one game where K-Mart caught Wade's shot to win the game. He didnt block it..he accually caught it. Everyone started to chant "kenyon martin". Thats the old kenyon man. Remember the Nets-Spurs finals where fans in SA where holding signs saying you will be here next year kidd. And Kenyon went up to them and said o no hes not hes staying in jersey. man i love that man. :worthy:
Miami in my opinion will still take this one. Even though the advantage definatley goes to the Nets at this point in the series by taking a game in Miami, the heat are just to strong of a team for the nets to keep up with. Shaq SHOULD be dominant for the rest of the series and take it in 7. Prior to the series starting, I predicted the Heat to win it in 6 so i have to say that the nets have changed my mind a little bit.
Clifford Robinson has been issues a 5 game suspension for violating the league's anti-drug policy..This is a huge blow to the Nets because the suspension starts tonight in game three, killing the little depth we have off the bench. Terrible, terrible decision by Cliffy, this is really going to hurt us..
Ouch. That is definitely a huge loss for the New Jersey Nets. Robinson provided a little scoring and rebounding off the bench, and really lifted some pressure off of NJ's big three. This just might change the complexion of the series.
Heres a link:http://www.nba.com/news/robinson_060512.htmlThis absolutely kills the Nets..Who will come off the bench? Padgett? Murray at PF? This is huge and really hurts the Nets in this series much more than people may realize.
Clifford Robinson is not a big loss since I don't think the Nets will beat the Heat anyways. The firepower between the teams aren't even close.
Game over 101-92 Heat take it over the Nets at there house, they now lead the series 2-1.VC with a monster 43,RJ with 17 and Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 30 Shaq with 19 and Walker 16 points.Incredibly enough James Posey was the second leading rebounder with 10 1 behind of Jason Collins. Was a good game overall except the Heat outscored the Nets in the 4th by 11 points,I'm expecting Wade to have alot more games like this.
VC had 43 points, but he made two critical turnovers down the stretch that gave Miami the lead for good. However, Kidd and the rest of the Nets only compounded the problem by continuing to turn the ball over in the final few minutes of the game. I'm positive they had atleast five or six in the final four minutes of the game, and that is inexcusable. Those kinds of mental errors late in playoff games will absolutely kill you, and that is exactly what happened to New Jersey tonight.
Very nice win. Both Wade and Shaq had another solid game, and the bench came up big for us too. Also, we stepped our defense up when we needed to and ultimately pulled away with the win, to bring homecourt advatage back on our side. The next game for the Nets is a must win though, or my prediction of Heat in 5 may come true.
