Wow, I checked the box scores and Carter attempted 34 shots!!! He scored 43 pts, yeah, but you dont need that many shots to get 43. He had a pretty good shooting percentage, though. New Jersey made alot of crucial mistakes in the 4th, and thats what helped Miami run in their fastbreak game. Another thing is that Jersey didnt get to the line as much as Miami did, 20 attempts compared to Miami's 40. The Nets need to win at least one game at home, or else this series could be over in 5.

The difference in this series is Nenad Krstic. If Krstic hits his outside shots, which he normally does (he got plenty of open looks), this game has a different outcome off the bat. Additionally, Carter's three consecutive turnovers lost this game for us, if we execute on those plays, this remains a close game with an oppurtunity to win it. I hope the Nets come out in game two with a determination to win the game and tie up the series..

HoopsKidd5, Kristic is playing poorly due to Haslem and being scared. Haslem has bullied him out of the post. Plus hes playing real scared for whatever reason. Probably due to a lack of confidence.

Carter killed your offense in the 4th quarter, it became the Vince Carter show and he turned the ball over 3 times that ended you. Vince is such a dink.

No, Vince kept the Nets in the damn game. The rest of the team had nothing, the starters scored wat? 10 pts in the second half. Maybe if the rest of the team did more than just stand around he wouldn't have turned the ball over that much<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (anypoint @ May 13 2006, 09:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>HoopsKidd5, Kristic is playing poorly due to Haslem and being scared. Krstic isn't even posting Haslem upHe missed some open shots, he's not gonna miss every open mid range jumper the rest of the series

I think they need for all there players to start hitting the open shots and start running the break for the easy points because I just don't see the Nets beating the Heat in the half court game.

Nets cant run because they are constantly taking the ball out of the net.

We arnt the Nets of old you guys dont get that. We have Carter who could go one on one and score most of the time in the halfcourt. We also have Krstic who would do stuff on the block and score. We have RJ who could take his man off the dribble and score. Everyone needs to realize we could score in the half court.

As we saw in the last game he gets to greedy and the rest of the team becomes invisible. Its so hard to win a game with one player.Greg Anthony brought out a good point. He said that its always been the Nets speciality to put great ball movement in the game until crunch time. During that time they always go on isolations. I dont know why the Nets are trying to fix something that isnt broken. If Kidd is doing such a wonderful job distributing the ball, why go away from that?

How do you want me to prove it? Watch the game for yourself. We dont run as nearly as much as we used to. People have to watch the game and see for themselves. I agree with what Greg Anthony said. We play differently in the last 5 mintues of the game. We try to go one on one with Carter to much. We should try to spread the ball and get the open shot for who ever it is, not just Carter.

Today I see Miami winning another one. As good as the Nets are, and as much as they can exploit Miami's weaknesses, they have no one who can guard DWade or Shaq, something that hurts them. If either DWade or Shaq goes off for 30+, I see Miami winning a close one. If we get 30/25 from DWade and Shaq, it could be a blowout. To win, NJ needs to shut either of the big two down, and get RJ 20 shots. If they do that, they could take a close one; pending Vince Carter has an efficient game.

Miamis transition defense is not very good. Its something that the Nets have to exploit.

I really think the biggest thing thats going to cost the Nets is Cliff Robinson getting suspended. We have nobody big coming off the bench to use a few fouls on shaq. We also miss him because he always came in and streched the defense. Now I think our only big guy off the bench is John Thomas.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (anypoint @ May 14 2006, 01:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>But you saw how efficient they were when they do ran the ball. But what im saying is we dont have to run to win. But it will help alot.

Nice half of basketball. Nets are hanging in there. Should be a good game to watch coming down the stretch. I have the Nets winning on the simple fact that if they in fact lose they are done. No way the Nets are coming back, down 3-1 against the Heat.

Game over,102-92 Heat now lead the series 3-1 and sorry Net fans, but this series is as close as it comes to over.Like I said,DWade had a big game with 31 points.Gotta give some credit to Antoine Walker also,he has really stepped it up these last 2 games.Nenad scored 20 points on 9-16 shooting.I expect the Heat to close it out Tuesday night at home.

Game over. Heat win! My prediction is looking good. Time for us to finish it off at home now in game 5.

The Nets don't have the shooters needed to space the floor. This series is as good as over. I knew the Heat would comeback after that first loss at home.
