The NHL will be pushing hard to prevent their players from taking a break to play in the Olympics in the future, so this might be the last one we see with NHL players. I really can't wait. It's hard to pick out a runaway favourite. Every team has noticeable strengths and significant weak spots. Also the US will field their strongest team since '98, so there should be some good cross-border tension.

Is Miller going to be the starting goalie for the States?

Patrice Bergeron was the biggest surprise but there might not be a better player to put with Sidney than him, those two and Nash is so fuckin dirty. I love the Doughty pick, kid is a stud and deserves to be here. I'm happy we got a lot of shut down guys, the other guy who could be here is Doan.

Whether it's the Olympics or Championships every time Canada puts together a roster that looks unbeatable on paper but they still have to play the games.

Im kinda torn who to root for. Do I go for team Wings, aka the sweeds. Do I root for my coach, and Capt.? Or do I root for the Goalie that went to Michigan State?

Canada dominated Norway. To their credit, the Norwegians held it scoreless in the first period. But you got the sense that Canada was figuring out how to play with each other, when to pass, when to shoot, etc. In the second period they came out more aggressive and kicked ass from then on. Players started to show chemistry with each other and the team just looked so talented and energetic. The contrast from the '06 disappointment in Turin could not be greater.

Iginla needs to replace Bergeron in the top line with Crosby and Nash. Those three showed some beautiful passing and all three are willing to do the dirty work in front of the crease. Drew Doughty needs way more time. The guy was very impressive tonight. Mike Richards too.

Babcock wont put Iginla on the same line as Crosby, it makes to much sense. I mean, if he dont put Dats and Zetterberg on the same line, why put Iginla and Crosby on the same line? Its kinda like Chewbacca and the Ewoks. Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.[1]
