I'm just curious if you think the bush tax cuts helped our economy out? Save, save, save! Don't put any money back into the system!

Not a fan of the spending or the nuclear reactors... but it is better than other things he has spent money on. At least this will create some jobs and help with our energy needs (though I don't think nuclear is the answer at all).

Obama punished companies who use or sell coal & oil, but promotes those making nuclear fuel and nuclear waste. Clearly, I'm missing something here.

The economy grew for 28 straight quarters under the Bush Administration.

And for the record, you can put money back into the system and not do it through the government. It's called private investment.

For the record, I'm all for nuclear power plants from coast-to-coast. I'm also for developing clean coal technology. The scrubbers are expensive, but given enough scale, the costs can come down.

Mostly I'm for energy independence. And I think the "green" jobs line is complete bullshit. Solar, wind, geothermal, etc. on a large scale is all crap. We have resources and we should use them.

The problem with nuclear is that those plants will never get built. They'll push dirt from one side of the site to the other, but regulatory hurdles and legal challenges will stop them from getting underway.
