http://blogs.ajc.com/hawks/2010/02/...lippers-aka-back-to-work/?cxntfid=blogs_hawks I have the league pass, so I'll be rootin' on my boy!
Thanks. Hope he plays well. I might also forget to pay attention for Trav's return. I'd like to see his first game back.
I'm sure a lot of people no longer care, but I'll remind you guys when Trav will make his debut also.
Nah, I'll care. I really do hope Trav finds a home somewhere and flourishes. I just didn't see him being a long term fit here anymore.
If Kim starts Blake over Baron at any point in the season because Blake's just "more steady with the rock", I will laugh my fucking ass off.
Man, they look so down @ the PC: http://www.nba.com/clippers/video/2010/02/17/blakeoutlaw100217MP4-1234743/index.html
Yikes. I know that they are professionals and are very well paid - but we followed Travis since he arrived here as a kid with no concept of the world. Breaks your heart.
Yeah, I watched about a minute and a half of that and stopped it. I couldn't look at their faces. There are honest answers, and there are answers you just have to give for the best result. No enthusiasm from either of them. I hate that they probably feel like castaways because I really think they wanted to stay.
If Steve Blake could shoot lasers out of his eyes, the whole entire audience there (what, 3 reporters?) would be dead
That's very sad. I'm sure part of it is just that neither of them loves being behind the mike, and part of it is us projecting, but it looked like: Q: Steve, your mother just died. How are you coping? A: Well, what can you do? I'm just know she's in a better place, that's all. Q: Travis, you've been battling depression for most of your life. Have the new drug treatments helped any? A: No.... no, not really. Y'know. I don't know... barfo
