the deal with Portland (Pierce for NVE + #3 pick) had gone through? We would still be in the lottery, but we'd have a much more promising future. I mean, look what Chris Paul has done with the Hornets. Right now, we'd be sporting a line-up ofG- Chris PaulSG- Tony AllenSF- WallyPF- Ryan GomesC- Kendrick Perkinswith Gerald, Delonte, and Al coming off the bench. Ryan Gomes would be just like David West. And we'd have tons of cap room to sign a good young player.
that woulda been cool to see, I mean I would have hated giving up the truth but having chris paul would have been incredible. I would have hate to seen Pierce in Portland though , his career probably would have taken an unexpected downslide and him and darius miles would probably just smoke weed all day and play like sh*t.
That would have been pretty crazy. NVE is a pretty good backup also, and the other two picks would have still been lottery. Wow Boston would have been in better shape, but don't think there not in good shape right now......They have the most total potential of any team in this league.

Your team would be a mess, you wouldn't have a scorer to free up other players and your team would be even more young. You would be a lot like the Hornets.
but when the hornets drafted Paul, they had no foundation at all. We have some pieces still. Alot of players with potential ready to be tapped. It's crazy how much guys like Perk and Ryan Gomes would improve.

Also I think Jefferson would have lead the team in scoring. I mean look at the numbers David West put up. Granted West has a much better mid-range game than Jefferson, but his post game is far above that of West. I would have liked to see it but I am sure I would have missed Pierce more. Also to add to the what if... what if the C's would have taken Ridnour instead of Banks. They would be in a much better situation! Ridnour is the true point the C's need, although West is coming along very nicely.RidnourWallyPierceGomesPerkWestAllenGreenJeffersonRaefThat 2nd unit could practically start too, ok that's a bit exagerrated, but that looks better than what we have imo.
Getting CP3, would be pretty tight..and you know you'd be getting a studly 20 year old PG in return for the truth.

If they had done the deal with Portland I probably would have jumped off of a bridge. Paul Pierce IS this team. The WHOLE team. He is so important to this team, and if he leaves this team any way except for retiring, Ainge better get something spectacular for him because this team will just be so pathetic if he deals him and doesnt get another star in return.Oh yeah, and I can live with Delonte instead of CP3.
