It has little to do with Kiki not finding a shooter. It has a lot to do with owner Stan Kroenke and his meddling ways. Kroenke signs the checks and felt that he should have more say in personel matter. Bad choice Stan. Hopefully Stan realizes this and actually hires a basketball person instead of doing a GM by committee type of thing.Kiki will find a job. Portland seems interested. If Isiah gets fired he could land in NY. I just hope Stan doesn't mess up the foundation and all the good will Kiki brought to the Nuggets.

Heard about this on the news. It really is not a bad move. I just hope we find a good replacement.

Kiki hasn't done a bad job. I would have kept him a little longer.

Kiki sucks, if you take out him drafting Carmelo Anthony he's done nothing worth mentioning.

I'm sorry but thats not very impressive. Without the picking of Carmelo this team would still be in the dumps, outside of Carmelo the team really isn't that good. He's not put this team in a position to win by not signing a scorer or a shooter.

He's made a lot of mistakes (see pro vs. con post). But he was/is better than over 50% of the GM's in the league today.

They are worse to much worse then the Nuggets. How can anyone say he has done nothing? That is ridiculous.I'm not saying he should stay, but I am only in favor of letting someone go IF there is a better option out there. Kiki had quite a bit of room for improvement, but he still did a lot.

I agree with Ender there, he made the Nuggets a playoff team. Enough said.

He had nothing to do with it, Carmelo Anthony fell to him and thats why they are a playoff team, other than that he's done nothing.

Then why didn't Paul Pierce take the Celtics to the playoffs in the watered down East? Your statement is ridiculous. Camby, Nene, Miller, Boykins, Martin, Najera, Evans, Patterson, Elson all have played a HUGE role in the Nuggets getting to the playoffs the last 3 years (at various times). All were brought in by Kik.

He traded away McDyess for Camby and Nene. With the salary dump we were able to sign those players including re-signing Camby. Without him doing that, I think we would have been the Knicks, a team filled with overpaid, grumbling players. What's more, he picked the colors for our current baby-blue jersey... he won fans back. :beerchug:I heard he was close to signing Arenas back in 2003, but Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke cancelled the offer because he didn;t think Arenas deserved it (?) so Vandeweghe had no option than signing the best left available, Andre Miller, who in my opinion didn't turn out so bad for us.Aside of giving K-Mart big money, Nikoloz and Nene drafting over Amare, I think he'd fare better than most GMs in the L.
