    MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP)—Memphis Grizzlies swingman Ronnie Brewer(notes) suffered a partially torn right hamstring during Friday’s game against Miami.

    The team announced Saturday that an MRI exam confirmed the injury and Brewer will be out indefinitely. A timetable for his return will be set after an evaluation next week.

    Brewer was acquired Thursday from the Utah Jazz for a protected future first-round draft pick.


    Another bad debut.

    Am I the only one who didn't know about this trade until just now? Went wayyy under the radar. Good pick up by Memphis, sucks that he got injured so fast though.

    Sad news considering how durable Brewer has been during his career. Must of been the headband, first game he's worn one since college :dunno:
