Yeah, that sucked. And it's not about how they played here. As others have stated, these guys are Blazers. And always will be to me.
Not anymore to my understanding. They both had a number of games to play as a condition to trigger the 2nd year, and my understanding is that they both did play these games.
That was painful to watch. Even more astonishing is that, thanks to what this team did to the Clippers Tuesday night, Barron decided to check-out of Wednesday's game; leaving Blake as the starter (!!) without even having a chance to practice with his new team! Blake played decent, recording 9 assists in the loss, which occurred against a very good Atlanta club with a better inside game. Don't feel so bad for the Clippers - they are cleared for max space next year and "could" possibly get LeBron if they're lucky. They'll also get the "other" Blake back from injury, and very likely Camby as well. I think the Blazers might bring back Blake IF Bayless does not live up to expectations behind Miller. There are some very important players coming up for FA next season - should be very interesting.
