Hi Warriors fans, I'm probably going to be going to the Raptors @ Warriors game in March (13th). I'm looking at getting 3-4 tickets. Any recommendations on where to sit and how much to spend on tickets? Not looking to spend a fortune.
If you can swing $130 or so a ticket (a lot, I know), somewhere like 8-10 rows back on the side of the court (as close to midcourt as you can get) is a great vantage point, you can see everything. These are club level seats so you can hang in the bar area pregame. Or I'm sure you could move up a few rows and pay a little less but still get a good view. The players enter and exit the tunnels right near here on the bench side.
Yeah, the club level seats are good and not too expensive. I would recommend not getting the cheap seats. Sadly, that's where I usually seat and leave every game wishing I had spent more on better seats. The ceiling arches down and when you sit at the top it's feels small, dark and like you're watching the game through a tunnel.
Club Level, beat traffic and get there early. You'll get good food, plasmas, warmups, drinks and a great view. The Cheap Seats are way too far after the remodel. (I'm not advocating spending money on the team this year though)
Ok, thanks guys. Much appreciated. We're staying in Fisherman's Wharf. How hard is the commute to Oracle? Is it quick to take the BART?
Take BART. It's about 45mins and it drops you off right across from the Oracle. You just cross over a ramp right into the stadium area.
Go to stub hub. You could sit behind the backboard lower level for less than 40 bucks most of the time.
BTW - Don't get scared of all the homeless people at the Oakland BART station when they try to help you with the ticketing machines.
Thanks, guys. I was able to get some lower bowl (high corner) seats at a decent price on StubHub. Hopefully they can deliver the tickets to me before we leave. Ticketmaster wouldn't let me print tickets or pick up at box office because I'm ordering from Canada. Bastards!
