What do you think Steve Blake is thinking while watching our highlights on SportsCenter tonight. I know these are his boys, but do you think he's like, "Fuck Ya!..... They shouldn't have traded me!"

Blake had more assists for the Clippers than the entire Blazer roster tonight, at least when you compare first games post-trade.

There were times when I wished that the kick-out pass was to Blake instead of Miller, but then again. I like how Miller forces his will on a game, for good or for bad.

For the first time in a long while, Blake will actually get to be a true PG, instead of an off-guard position. I think he will do well, instead of handing the ball off to Roy or Miller and standing in a corner that Nate had him do.

Nate kept Steve from being able to take anyone off the dribble and create? He'll probably get to play a more traditional Point moving the ball when paired with Gordon, but I'd imagine he'll be matched with Baron off the ball/standing in the corner a good amount of time too. That corner 3 is a great shot for him... it's arguably his most effective skill. But again, I don't think we're going to see him drive and dishing much because he's never really done that.

I think I don't give a flat fuck what Steve Blake thinks. The Blazers were going to lose that game pretty much no matter what unless somebody on the team got really hot.

Sorry, but the outcome of that game was based on not playing good defense in the paint, where the Celts scored at will, and not sharing the ball. Good defense leads to good offense, which wins games. Sharing the ball leads to easier scores and more assists. Being "hot" is not the issue, imo.

I thought we traded for the greatest defending rebounding shot blocking selfless team playing glue guy in the league to fix that problem? :devilwink:

Yea BOTH our guards need to step it up in the assist category, if Roy was still not 100% he should have focused on finding teammates instead of limping to the hoop

someone wake me when Steve Blake scores more points than the Blazers do. There were times, when Steve was on the team, where we had assist #'s like last night.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Blake gets paid millions of dollars to play a game he loves, has sex with a hot wife when at home and probably with supermodels on the road...

What Steve thinks: "It's good to be BLANKY."
