If I were going to break guys down based on the roles/positions I think they can play, it'd go something like this.

    PG - Law, Hunter
G - Rose, Hinrich, Murray, Pargo
    SG - Brown
F - Deng, Warrick (probably more of a PF), Johnson, Alexander
    PF -Gibson
    PF/C - Noah
    C - Miller, James

So what's the strategy for going small with Noah hurting, Gibson hurting a bit less, and Miller old?

Does Gibson become a makeshift center? Will we see how absurd Jerome James looks at some point?

I would put Murray as more of a sg because i haven't seen him play too much Pg and think Warrick will be more of a PF only because the bulls have a lack of depth there.

    My lineup would be:
    PG-Rose, Law, Pargo
    SG- Hinrich, Murray, Pargo, Brown
    SF- Deng, Warrick, Johnson, Alexander
    PF- Gibson, Warrick, Johnson
    C- Noah, Miller, James

I think with Noah hurt, the bulls are gonna struggle the next few games down low. Luckily they play the T'Wolves, 76ers, Pacers, and Wizards the next 4 and should get all wins from them. Hopefully Noah will be back by Portland

Didn't Jerome James have a career ending injury/surgery a couple years back? If I'm correct, he can't even play if we wanted him to. Beyond that, some insurance company is paying his salary, and I think playing would likely void that.

Supposedly he's been practicing and it's been mentioned that he might play. I've read various stuff about the insurance, and never gotten a clear answer on whether James' contract is covered.

The CBA FAQ seems to have been updated to talk about insurance more at some point
One thing worth considering is that the insurance has already likely been paid up to this point. That is, if he plays from here on out, it's not like the Bulls have to pay 100% of his annual salary. They just have to pay 100% of his remaining salary.

That is, we're 53 games into the year, so I'd guess that James has already been paid $4.27M of his $6.6M. Of that, $850k was paid by the Bulls and the remaining $3.4M was likely paid by insurance.

If he starts playing tomorrow, the Bulls would have to pay him the full remaining $2.3M instead of just another $470k. The past payouts, if they've been made, are likely water under the bridge.

If I were the Bulls, I'd want to see him really going hard and wait until the last 10 games or so if I were gonna play him.

Yeah, lots of Warrick last night, and 35 minutes of Miller. I don't think the latter will last long but basically we got

    1- Rose, Kurt
    2- Kurt, Flip, Pargo
    3- Deng, Kurt, JJ
    4- Gibson, Warrick
    5- Miller, Gibson

I don't know what was up with the inexplicable Pargo/Flip/Kurt lineup. I bet they're going to waive Pargo and they're giving him a tryout tape.

Yea i really don't see how Pargo fits in the lineup at all. I'd rather have Noah at point than him. Pargo just seems like a selfish shooter that can't shoot. I'm curious to see what Law and Alexander have to bring

Given that the Bulls typically go with a pretty short rotation, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting to see much of those two. Alexander apparently couldn't even stand out playing in Ft. Wayne. Which is a shame, because anything out of the ordinary stands out in Ft. Wayne.
