Im starting to think houston is out of the picture. they lost to the hornets tonight and now are 28-27. As crazy as this sounds... the hornets are 2 games back if we lose to utah. If they stay 500. till paul comes back.. we are in trouble. Now the good news... besides houston losing.... the spurs have lost again... this time to detroit. they are now 31-23. Considering how hard there upcoming schedule is im thinking they might miss the playoffs. dont forget we have tie breaker. its really crazy to say it but the spurs might be in the most trouble of all. if we beat the jazz tonight... its HUGE.
guys im looking at the hornets and spurs schedules..... we would have to play really really bad not to get a playoff spot. there schedules are brutal. bad news is.... we arent catching okc. they are running away.
I want us to get the 7th spot, if not the 6th. Being the 8th seed would be an automatic out against the Lakers, but we have a better chance against any other team in the West. I don't know if we can climb to the 7th seed if Roy won't regain his form.
i think as long as the spurs collaspe continues..... we will be fine for 7th. spurs have lost to the sixers and pistons. thats ugly.
Somehow I think that going against the Lakers is better for this team than going against Utah. Hope the Camby anchored Blazers make me rethink that tonight.
Automatic out? I think of all the teams in the league, the two teams I'd most like to play are the Spurs and the Lakers.
