I am going to say something very unpopular. I think The team plays better without THIS Brandon Roy. We also seem to be a much better running team than this ISO crap. Motion, passing, running. C'mon Nate
I've heard of getting homered. But the last few home games, we've had the opposite. The refs have been bagging Portland.
Best thing that could have happened to the Blazers. Sit the injured Roy on the bench so this team can play some basketball.
Martell finished an alley-oop. So he's had a positive moment. But he didn't go a whole lot, so that moment lasted all of a second.
Is this sarcasm? Roy was playing aggressive early and was showing no sign of injury. The refs fucked him over early on the Douche-Bag Williams call.
If Webster and Rudy are going to be missing 3's again, we could be in trouble. Our defense seems better tonight which is good.
Lotta contact on Webster's 3 there. If that's Kobe, Lebron, or even a midlevel star, they call that. Defender body checks him on the follow through.
Not blowing by Williams? That's fucking stupid talk right there. Roy got the ball, Williams was two steps in front of Roy, Roy had taken 3 strides when he and DW connected and they were equal when the foul was called. Did you expect him to steal the ball and be beamed under the Blazers hoop? And as for reaching on Boozer? Have you never seen him do that? Roy is guilty of that quite a bit. Sometimes he gets away with it, sometimes he doesn't. Remember the Houston game last year when he did that with Yao?
I thought the defensive 3-in-the-key was supposed to be called when you have a defender sitting in the key for 3 or more seconds and not guarding a player of the offense? Was Juwan called because his toe was on the line around the lower block of the key? He was 3-4 feet from a Jazz player.
