Even when Stackhouse has a good game he does stupid to cause us this game. This one is on Avery. Harris was playing great and when he was out Dallas had no penetration. Stackhole rises again.
Danny Crawford was reffing. I knew Dallas was in trouble when I saw that. Dallas has a horrible record with him as the ref. I don't think it is a coincidence either. I've watched the games and notice when he's out there.
You know forget about this game its game 1It was a matter of rest over rust and rust took us.Lets move on and goto game 2 instead of whining about game 1 shall we?
It's a matter of Dirk getting hacked and fouls being called or not. It is pretty simple. The refs allow Bowen to hack away on Dirk than the spurs win. If fouls are called mavs win.
Mavs miss the three at the end. Spurs win by two. I think the Mavs should of just gone for OT. They made a mistake there.
Mavsfan I only got to watch the 1st half today and missed the 2nd half so I'm basically reading responses about the game. And if it wasn't for Stack, we wouldn't be in the game. Now his shot at the end was a bad idea but I have to question why Dirk passed a 12 footer and passed it to Stack. That was his shot to take. Also, not counting how the pass was almost stolen. Other then that, sounds like bad execution at the end, but I think the key to the loss is the missed ft's. We missed way too many, what happened to us at the line? Were not that bad. Despite all that, we only loss by 2, so that's something to hang your head, and we only allowed 16 points in the 4th, too bad we only scored 13 . Time to move on for game 2, we need to take that one for sure, our goal should be to take at least one, and we still have that opportunity. LET'S GO MAVS.
Well my sum up is Mavs lost it in cruch time. Mavs were puting up bad shots. Not even bothering to set an offense, no plays. Every time the ball was brought down the court someone would drive, get cloged with 2-3 Spurs around them and chuck a bad shot. Mavs had everthing to beat Spurs in this game, just didnt play smart, imo. Mavs can beat Spurs in game 2. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Mavs miss the three at the end. Stack was open for the time, but got defended quick. A sloppy 3 was the last option
Amazing how much better the spurs are on defense to the Grizzlies. Statistically they look the same but it sure seemed harder to score on the spurs. Once again it leads to how the refs are calling the game. Duncan got all the calls that Dirk didn't get. That is bs.
Besides, from what I saw, and read later on, Avery drew up a play for Stack to cut to the basket, since Dirk would inevetably get double or trippled. But Dirk rushed the pass, which Ginobli deflected enough for Stack to have to put up that bad shot...he didn't want to do it, and it wasn't called for him to do it.Leave it to Mavsfan to totally dismiss the fact that the Mavs were only in the game because of Howard and Stackhouse.Basically, Dirk supposedly had an "off" night(if 20 and 14 is an off night) and the Mavs lost by 2...and that was with TD playing his best basketball of the playoffs.I don't think TD keeps up his play...and I do think Dirk scores more from here on out.

Howard should've gotten more touches in the second half. Terry sucked and Harris should've been in the game at the end.
Yeah, that sucked. The refs really sucked in that game also. I'm never the one to blame anything on the refs, but in this game, they were really a factor. They called so many fouls on the Mavs when Duncan was down low tryin to get his lay-ups.
Wow what was Stackhouse thinking?I just saw the replay. He had a wide open line and took a horrible 3 pointer.

The Spurs are going to win in 6 games. It just took them a while longer to get their play at championship level in the playoffs. Spurs-Pistons finals rematch and I'm sticking with it. Please stop spam posting also.
Spurs in 7, the Mavs will fight them really hard until the end, but the Spurs have a gift of winning big games. I think the Mavs will win Gm. 2, and the two games in Dallas will be split, and from their it will go down to a last game.
Mavs take game 2 rather easily 113 -93 is the final score, good win for the Mavs, now they need to take the upcoming games in Dallas if they wan't a good chance of taking the serious.-Few game stats Duncan with 28Josh Howard with 27 Duncan,Howard and Nowitzki tied with 9 boardsSpurs shot 30% from 3 point.
Considering how we let game 1 slip and took game 2 handily. I think Dallas has a very good shot at taking this series.
