Honestly i really hope this team does not make the playoffs for the mere fact that Nate will be fired, hopefully
Well in a sense that some people would just look at the boxscore and be like "LOL GREG ONLY GOT EIGHT REBOUNDS" without acknowledging the tapping out he did to his teammates who would let their man hang on Greg instead of boxing out. Also sometimes because even our own home scorekeeper screwed Greg out of blocks so they could at least be consistent with him about the tap out rebound count or not! Also I am overly sentimental.
Last year I, and many of u, were laughing at Ric Bucher when he wrote an article detailing how OKC had a brighter future than the Blazers... Looks like he was right
LMAO - overly sentimental? Did you cry when Ross and Rachel ended up together? I heard it's our scorekeeper's inconsistencies that ultimately led to Greg's injury. I kid, I kid. But I have long wondered how the scorekeeper tracks rebounds and blocks. Too much room to manipulate the stats there, like when Blake had the 16 assists or whatever in the 1st quarter.
For sure. Cuz two years from now, Durant will blow out his knee, miss a season-plus recovering, and will have lost a step. Then, suddenly the Blazers will be back on top of OKC.
He'll still start the season next year IMO. Good news for me. Made a bet at the start of last season that PDX would not win a playoff series until Ronald McDillon was fired. I made the mistake of saying "fired" as he is on one year contracts (because you know, he's FUCKING clueless and didn't sign a long term deal.) So if "both sides" "agree to go separate ways" it is a void bet. If he starts next season I'm fucking rich! (Because he will be fired)
Nates explination of the loss "you gotta get that board, we had to get it, cost us the game" really nate? how bout 10 points in the 4th? what part of the game did that effect?
It's really just up to the home guy to call it how he wants. There was an interesting article on Truehoop about one of the Lakers scorekeepers or Grizzlies scorekeepers from when Van Excel was still with the Lakers a while back. And no to the Ross and Rachael thing - but that is because I really never got into Friends and any value the show had ended after like season five like most shows do, except Seinfeld really. (I just had to answer this, sorry).
