Wishful thinking I guess. He signed a new contract around April of 2008 so I'm sure he's still on our books until 2011 or 2012. I'd like to see him and Fabianski shipped out and have Wenger pick up a new number one with Mannone as the full time backup.

Arsène Wenger was previously unwilling to loan out the prospect who’s current deal expires in the summer, until he had committed his long-term future. I can see Walcott bouncing back after his game against Sunderland. He was absolutely ripping up Sunderland's left-side. I think we'll see more of those 50/50 balls lobbed downfield by Fabregas to give Walcott something to run after.
