I guess the opposing team couldn't figure that out. They kept shading to his right when he has the ball. You're son has nice fundamentals on his jumper. He was busting that zone up.

Everybody in the Conference knows he's a lefty. I don't know what those guys were thinking. He scored 22 that game, but only averages 10 ppg. He is a pass first point guard and gets double doubles frequently. We have two posts who are 6'5" so, they were trying to stop them from scoring with their zone.

He did have some interest from a Junior College in Washington, but it is too far away. He will probably gets some looks if we get by Ashland and into state. He will go to college, but where, we are not sure yet. I'm sure he could play small college ball somewhere. He has the skills.

I put in a few hours sometimes at a company where the owner's son, age 18, has also put in a few hours in my office. The kid turned down 3 (says he) or 5 (says his mother) college scholarships in basketball. He has ADHD (attention deficit) and I think he knows that he'd flunk out. His father yells about it on the phone to the father's friends. The family's embarrassed and doesn't give me many details.

What gets me is that he's the same size and age as my son, who didn't make high school because he wouldn't shoot during games. I could have been an NBA father. I know I deserve it.

There is tutoring and assistance for people with ADHD and other learning disabilities. They can use and IEP in college also. (individual education plan)
Back when we shot hoops into peach baskets, I played ball. I was very good in practice against my team mates, but didn't shoot much in the games. I was too wound up as opposed to practice when I played my friends. I became the defensive specialist. Never had a tenth of my son's abilities though.

Connor made All NWOC 3rd team. He is in good company. Last year for this conference. Most teams moving up to 6A next year. Wish us luck in Ashland on Sat.:chestbump:
