I saw one of these a few weeks ago and even as a dog lover this dog intimidated me like no other. And I own a pitbull! So wide that in person they remind you of a gorilla. Presa Canario:
well all those awesome huge dogs have short lives because of heart problems. Irish wolfhounds or bullmastif
THey look very similar to a Cane Corso or Italian Mastiff: I picked up a half Cane Corso half Rotweiller on Labor Day weekend. She's gorgeous.
Ya know, as a long time claims adjuster (over 13,000 claims), I've always wondered why pit bulls are even allowed. Now, I'm just one claims guy out of hundreds in this city and out of tens of thousands nationwide, but when I did property/casualty I ageraved 1-2 calls per month and they were the same- "We were walking (or playing) with our pet pit bull. (S)He's the sweetest, most gentle dog in the world, and just loves kids........ but all of a sudden he grabbed our daughter/son and started tearing and mauling them.... we want our insurance to pay for all of it..." So I always ask that since this dog has mauled or (or in a coupld of occassions) killed their kid, what has happened to the dog. The 100% answer is that they have done nothing with the dog and could never ever get rid of the dog, despite the fact it proved it's breed's creed to be mentally disturbed toward violence and now thier children have to live in fear of it. I just don't have never gotten why people keep pit bulls- especially after they injure someone.
