Arsenal's second trip to Britannia Stadium in a month should be more productive than the first, though only a few more first team players will be available this time around. Stoke handled Arsenal in January bumping them out of the FA Cup. Stoke play Manchester City today in FA Cup action--a game Arsenal could've been playing in. The injury report suggests players unavailable last week--Arshavin, Gallas, Eduardo, and others--are still unfit.
God, awful challenge....Aaron Ramsey right ankle is either broken or his leg is broken. It was just hanging there.... Get well Aaron, godspeed.
I refrained from commenting until now because I was so furious I knew I wouldn't represent a clear point of view. To beat Arsenal you have to play rough and kick them, they say. And they do. And nobody is bothered by it besides us. Newsflash: no team likes to be bullied and kicked. Just because its Arsenal though somehow its acceptable because its how you play us. Bolton, Stoke, the list goes on. We get mauled too frequently in this game with too little response from our players and mockery from the media. At some point people need to start realizing that there is no place for reckless challenges in football and few teams are the victim of them as much as we.
