Lakers are trailing season series 2-0. Hopefully we finally get a win today. Would be a pretty big win for us as well and would be a real shame to lose at home again. Thankfully I can watch it on TV.
well we won't have any excuses since both teams are at full strength (kobe around 80%?)... hopefully we pull through
I don't think KMart is playing today. This is a big game for the Lakers because Denver is only 4.5 games back for the #1 seed.
Disagree. We could lose the last two games we have against Denver, and they'll still lose out on the #1 seed by at least 3 games. We've got a stranglehold on the #1 seed.
Im gonna love watching this game. Gonna be real physical. There'll be more facials than a Tiger Woods road trip.
Haha, I love Ron. He's like, "Get. The. Fuck. Out." lol I hated Carmelo myself, fucking ***got with that gay smirk. lol
LOL @ Kobe and Melo sharing some words for each other after the game... Remember the last one? Kobe didn't go up to melo bec it was a loss
i noticed his shooting form... its like he wasn't finishing his follow through... maybe the finger is hurting good thing he was able to mix up his game really hope kobe decides to gets surgery on that thing this summer instead of playing for team USA
All hail the Queensbridge duo!!! Ron Ron and LO played awesome basketball today. Ron continues to play excellent defense, and I loved how he D'ed up Carmelo today. His reaction after making Carmelo foul out was priceless. He finally found his offensive game as well. Big props to Ron Artest (who finished with 6 steals), he was the MVP of today's game. LO played terrific basketball as well. Once again, he was the best big man on the court, making things happen offensively and defensively. I laugh (no offense) at everyone during the summer, who were trying to convince me losing LO wasn't going to hurt the team that much, and that we could find an easy replacement such as Josh Powell or signing Shelden Williams. How disastrous would it have be if we really lost LO to Miami. I think it's time to stop thinking about Lamar as a role player, he is part of the core of this team, and he is NOT expandable by just plugging in a random scrub like Powell or Williams. Without him this year, Denver would be the #1 seed in the west. Yes, LO is inconsistent, he is frustrating, but the talent and impact he can bring is irreplaceable. He really brought his A game today, and he deserves some big props. Kobe was terrible today shooting the basketball, but I like his 12 assists and how he was able to get his teammates involved. Fisher's foul on Billups at the 3 point line was absolutely moronic, please retire after this season. In all, excellent game today. We were able to come back from behind to beat the Nuggets with Kobe struggling. Hopefully Kobe gets his groove back soon, he missed A LOT of easy looks he usually would've made (well, easy looks for Kobe).
I like how Kobe's played the last two games despite the lousy shooting. He's going to have to play this way for us to win another title. Looks like his rhythm is off and he's not in game shape yet. Probably a couple of more games and he'll be back to normal scoring the basketball at a more efficient clip. 12 assists and 8 fta's I'll take that every night from him. Ron Artest & LO were amazing today for us. Josh Powell also gave us a nice 4 mins off the bench.
Powell was awesome off the bench today, I think he sparked us, before Odom did. Odom was huge, too. If he could play like this every night, I'd be perfectly fine with the Lakers' shopping Bynum. Obviously Gasol and Drew just don't work out all the time together. Speaking of Gasol...another weak performance. Man up dude, man the fuck up. Like how Kobe didn't force it tonight. He knew he wasn't feeling it, so he became a facilitator, I love it. This game proved to me Denver needs a miracle to hang with us. The 1st game we lost to them, we traveled all night on the 2nd of a back to back without Gasol. 2nd game, they shot lights out from 3. Tonight in the 1st half, I've never seen the Lakers' turn it over so much. In the 2nd half, the Lakers came back to earth.
