quality kind of bad, but if you missed the game, I suggest watching this. Ron played some VERY impressive defense today against Carmelo, he was everywhere.
I can't believe how quick his hands are. He started the season weighing 268 He is at 257 now and wants to be 252 for the playoffs. Carmelo scored, but he was highly inefficient. Loved Ron's game all day.
You can't stop guys like Carmelo or Kobe, but you can make them work hard for their shots. Ron made Carmelo's life a living hell today. And I agree, his weight loss has definitely helped his defensive game. He's been looking like vintage Ron Artest for the past couple of games.
I like seeing Ron fired up like this. From this game, our big men (Pau and Drew) need to see the fire that Lamar and Ron played with today, and copy it.
Bynum's been playing with a little more edge lately. Gasol not so much. Artest has been on a roll shutting guys down.
Ron Rons intensity is up. He wants a title! Lets get Kobe his 5th RING!!!!! GO LAKERS!!! I love this RONNY!
Bynum's D has definitely been up, his activity, too. I wonder if one of the vets had a talk with him? Odom and Artest should be connecting with the kid, being as he is from back east, too. Kobe should be connecting too, seeing as they both went straight to the NBA from HS.
Ron & Kobe were voted in the Top 5 for dirtiest players in the league by their peers. WHO IS THE DIRTIEST PLAYER IN THE NBA? Reggie Evans, Raptors F 21% Ron Artest, Lakers F 13% Andres Nocioni, Kings F 6% Anderson Varejao, Cavs C 5% Kobe Bryant, Lakers G 4%
