He had to shoot it. Either that or add another turnover to the night.

They would have had to shoot anyway, but yeah the Grizz had given up.

I'm sorry, but I'm a score-runner-upper. I don't believe in fearing the other team's retribution. Do they really need to get up for a game by remembering a pointless three after the game was decided? Who cares. I wish he had run in and dunked it in Zach's face. :)

I don't get the Howard love, but I thought Nate did a decent job in the second half with the rotation

Outstanding second half! 62-41 to come back and take a big road win from a team that really needed it.

If the clock had been off and Nic took the three it's a problem, but he takes a shot or takes a turnover by not shooting it, so ... :dunno:

Cunningham was way overmatched trying to guard Randolph.

It's not like Howard shut him down, but Cunningham looked like a rookie trying to guard an all-star.

    My two favorite late-game plays:

    1) Roy's fumble pass to Batum on the baseline for the half-jam

    2) Camby's tip-in off Roy's errant layup

I'm pretty comfortable saying Batum is solidly a part of the core.

Jury's still out on Bayless and Fernandez, but Batum joins Roy and Aldridge (and Oden if he's healthy) as foundations of the team.

Batum blocking Mayo back into college doesn't make your top two? ;)
