    Travis Outlaw takes minutes away from Nicolas Batum. Nicolas Batum is a better all around player than Outlaw, so it's good that he is gone.

    Steve Blake takes minutes away from Jerryd Bayless. Jerryd Bayless is a better all around player than Blake, so it's good that he is gone.


    Portland is in no possition to win a title this season, and probably won't be in one next year either. There is no reason to keep guys like Outlaw and Blake who take minutes away from players who are and will continue to be betterthan they are.
