Well, we lost to Phoenix. I can't believe that we did. We were up 3 games to 1, and we lost. Unbelievable. We had the game in the bag in Game 6, but we expected Tim Thomas to miss. He tied it up, Kobe missed, we lost it in overtime. We played horrible tonight's game. Now let us all Laker fans try and look on the bright side. We have a first round pick this year, Kwame is improving, Smush improved over the year, Kobe is going to be Kobe, Lamar has picked up a lot, Andrew Bynum learned a lot this year hopefully, and Phil Jackson will be here for 2 more years. We need a couple of inside presences from the bench, tall, 6'10, 6'11 guys around 29, 30, 31, who can give us interior experiance. Sure, Kareem can help Kwame and Andrew but me need some modern day players too. Chris Mihm will be back in action, hopefully 06-07 Andrew will get playing time off the bench and develop. Kobe will wear 24, Lamar will be 7, we will win. We will keep on winning for years to come, untill us fans get one more title. For Kobe. and Phil.

My goal last year for LA was playoffs. Next year, Semis or WCF.

Even if we made the Western Conference Finals this year, it wouldn't mean anything. Phoenix was not its best, and the we rival the Clippers. If we had just won one of our last 3 games getting to the West Finals wouldnt be too hard, considering we have Kobe and Lamar. Lamar could take Elton in the paint.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (The Lefty @ May 6 2006, 08:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Im pissed.. we were up 3-1 man</div>It's not as big a collapse as people make it out. The Lakers barely ever play Phoenix on the road, and the Suns got an extremely lucky bounce to force overtime in Game 6.

Yeah, the Lakers just got lazy or tired down the stretch of the 4th quarter.
