I didn't specifically call you names.....Odd that you would think I did and then lump yourself into that category. I'm glad I am not alone in the observance of his D. I hope his hamstring does get better though, because I know he can play at a much higher level than he has been recently.
Roy can do no wrong. Shame on you for not knowing that already. Roy's stat line looked ok vs Indy, but his defense in general was pathetic.
I did. No, he isn't. I'm not sure what game you were watching. He did switch to Gay at times, though. Not sure how that is "shitty" defense. Anyhow, it's your opinion. I just happen to disagree. Regardless, Roy outplayed Gay and everybody else on Memphis overall. No biggie.
Not really. Roy has never worked as hard on defense as he does on offense. Since the hamstring became an issue, it is clear (at least IMHO) that he is taking more plays off on the defensive end. If this is just a health issue, it's no big deal - just as long as it doesn't become a habit.
Brandon Roy has a tendency to coast in the first half. This has become apparent even on the defensive end. He plays the last quarter therefore saving his energy for the first three quarters. But that is something he has done since day one of his arrival.
Okay, so when he switched on Gay, he was terrible.... so big deal if it wasn't his man the entire night. He only started outplaying people in the 2nd half. 1st half coasting...that's more of what I'm talkin' about.
dude is obviously playing through an injury. I'm miles from having an issue with him as the team's focus on O taking plays off on the other end... I'm mostly hopeful that he's able make it through this season without breaking down again. STOMP
