To be honest my biggest concern isn't the health of our team it's the health of our owner. God forbid, what happens if Allen is no longer around? He's more than willing to spend to keep this team together but if he's not around I'm afraid the new owner or Vulcans will be more cost conscience. Hopefully Mr. Allen is around for a long time!
I suggest that if, perchance, the Blazers do come up for sale, we band together as S2 members, pool our nickels, quarters and dimes and buy the teams ourselves!!!! Of course, in such a situation I foresee strenuous debate on voting people on/off the island. Gramps...
This also scares the shit out of me. When Paul Allen goes, the Blazers will go back to selling players like Moses Malone for cash. Enjoy him while you can. Bitching about Paul Allen as a owner was beyond ignorant.
