I thought I'd break the rash of soft porn threads and get back to ACORN- a group after my own heart. Following the two ACORN member arrests for voter fraud in Wisconsin, here is a clearly partisan blog about the issue: http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2010/01/12/dissecting-the-acorn-vote-fraud-scam/ While there doesn't seem to be any doubt about ACORN voter fraud across many states, aside from a few political races, there really is no further evidence of entire elections being thrown by the ACORN schemes. And it's not a matter of being left or right, but what is being done about it- or not done about it. That's what concerns me the most. Left or right, voter fraud must be one of the top priorities in a country that touts it's free & fair elections. To me, this is pretty sad when the investigations of obvious voter frauds are rarely investigated.
In other news, ACORN workers were cleared of wrong doing in Brooklyn. Wonder if this ran headlines on Fox? http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_...to_hide_money_from_prostit.html#ixzz0gxpib9Cn
I suppose it's not too surprising, given that the guy who shot the film was also recently arrested for illegal phone tampering.
The best defense against libel is the truth. The truth is not in ACORN's favor, given the video evidence.
According to law enforcement, the video was faked through editing to achieve the desired lie. That would indicate premeditation to libel, obviously done to defraud the American public and influence future elections. With expert testimony from investigators this should be a slam dunk.
