OT: Nets should tank the rest of the season

With Yi sidelined with a sprained ankle, the Nets have virtually no chance of making the playoffs so I think at this point, they have to start thinking about tanking for a shot at Dominique Jones.

Well, in 4 of the 5 wins of the Nets, Yi has scored 6 points or less!

 

Yi is an exceptional decoy and no, they're not better without Yi. They couldn't beat the Randolph-less Grizzlies without him. Nets should give up the season, rest Yi, pray they get the number one pick, draft Jones, and build from there.

 

What if they do better without Yi?

 

BTW, they're 7 games behind Minnesota...so no need to panic.

What are you smoking, man? They had been toying with setting the futility record all season long and are now at 7 wins versus 56 losses. If they win out, they'll be at 26-56 and nowhere near a playoff spot. So your boy Yi has NO CHANCE of sniffing the playoffs at all. Period.

Is anyone else getting to the point where one would support Eric and Rudy Cee requiring co-signers to start threads? If I see an idiotic root post, it's virtually guaranteed to be from one of those two attention whores.

 

I concur whole-heartedly. Since it seems like neither will get the boot anytime in the near future, maybe they should submit their proposed threads to teacher - who can then say yay or nay on each one.

Even better, maybe each one should just have ONE ongoing, idiotic thread that they just keep adding to day in and day out. That would greatly reduce the clutter on the forum. For those who wake up each day and feel like their day just isn't right without some Eric or Rudy Cee, they can just go to their respective threads to get their fix???
