The fact they are raising ticket prices 10% has created an intersting opportuntity for me.

I have been approached by two differnt people about splitting tickets next year. I always buy 1/3 from a friend every year and he has been good to me in return by giving me my fair share of good games and playoff games. But next year I have the opportunity to get better tickets, but just for the one year I think. These new tickets are row A and more towards center court. I've got till Friday to decide.:dunno:

These tickets are expensive, but they are the same price if you sit in the same section up to row Z I believe. So for the same price, you can sit in the first row (right behind the courtside seats). Face value is about $150/ticket and purchase price is $120/ticket. The seats right in front of row A are priced at 375/ticket.

Anyone intersted in buying some . . . it would help decide. He wants me to commit to 22 games . . . just don't know if I should jump on this or stick with the 1/3 I usally do? :dunno:

oh and for you "stat geeks" out there, the new wave will be variable ticket pricing...the SF Giants are considering doing that to change ticket prices based on demand, starting pitcher, etc.......see what y'all nerdz have done!

The Blazers are already doing this for single game ticket prices.

You are slipping. Put a little more creativity in it. Something like...

Stat geeks for imaginary cap space!

    Come on. Work your magic!

Come on now, "irrelevant stats" is on its way to the trademark and patent office now!

Stat Geeks unite is like me using "In Pritch We Trust" as a backhanded slap.

How about "Imaginary stats!". This is new and exciting while keeping a little bit of your trademark phrase in there to keep your loyal customers coming back for more!

By the way, did anyone tell you that your condiment bottle looks like Chris Farley?

Yes they are . . . so if anyone wants a five game package, they can have one game of their choice (some sort of agreement on the other 4)

I was told that he sold his Laker tickets this year for $250/ticket.

Brand dilution. By casually throwing "Imaginary Stats" or something similar, it will dilute Imaginary Cap Space.

FWIW, my buddy sold his lower tier L*kers tickets last year in the playoffs and paid for his entire year. Its only a good "investment" if the Blazers are good. If they're not, you will lose money or struggle to unload them I think.

You make all your money in the playoffs.

If it's imaginary, you can't dilute it. I just have to point this out. I know this is a stat you do not like to hear, but it's the truth!

We signed Andre Miller, if memory serves. Not dilute worthy :devilwink:

I don't think we used the imaginary cap space on that. I thought it was more the RLEC space?

We used the imaginary cap space on Richard Jefferson. For that, the imaginary part was fantastic. The cap space was used on Andre Miller. That was not imaginary.

as a ticket buyer, I think you should do it. that's just CASUALLY speaking though. (IE I don't have obscure stats to back this up).

120 per seat for a ROW A ticket center court is really really fucking good.

Is it on the side with the benches? that way you get to be on TV.

I have row C in the blue behind the basket and was getting near $200 per ticket for my Laker tickets. He was severely underpricing if these are row A whites.

It would be tough to pass up any part of a row A white package at season ticket holder cost. You can easily sell a few premium games and make your cost of ticket for the ones you use very affordable.

I like the ones on the other side alot better. Closer to the court and you get to see the benches instead of just the back of the players heads.
