You think Sacramento missed wide open shots? Portland did too. Brandon in particular.

I have concerns with the Blazers, but this is a 15 point win if Rudy doesn't misse 3 drives to the basket and Martel makes the wide open 3 all at the beginning of the 4th. And who would have thought Scott May would come in and drain two 18 footers in that stretch.

Over all I was pleased with our SF's. Martel and Batum played very well.

Bottom line is Sac has plenty of depth and plenty of talent. You can't under estimate anyone.

I am trying to figure out what your point is about Portland missing shots. Just because Sacramento stinks it up shooting, is not rationale for the Blazers to do the same.

The lack of intensity and effort at home is just not a one game thing. This has been happening all season long. We have 13 losses at home now. A huge portion of those could have been elminated with effort.

Was at the game last night and I must say. Our Defense won the Game. Our Offense was much less than satisfactory

Well, apparently the team just needs to try harder. Seems like an easy fix!

not when you cant score consistently. defense can be taught but if you have average offensive players and the 2 best players are mainly jump shooters... you live on the edge every night. also the best player cant hit free throws.

    Hit it fellas!

Well I see that you're postin' (postin')
Gonna leave logic far behind (so far behind)
'Cause you found a brand new topic
You decided that Dwight Jaynes was right (aahh..)

So I put (I put) your name (name) on my ignore function (oohh..)
And I block all your posts, too
And I've ignored the website where we used to go
Just because it reminds me of you (dippity dippity doo)

That's right (that's right) you ain't gonna see me readin'
I'm glad (I'm glad) that you found somebody new
'Cause I'd rather spend eternity eating shards of broken glass
Than read one more post by you..

I guess I might seem kinda bitter
You got me feeling down in the dumps
'Cause I'm stranded all alone in the s2 gas station of fun
And I have to use the self-service pumps (at least twice a week...wait, wrong thread)

Oh, so mixxy, let me help you with that suitcase
You ain't (you ain't) gonna break my brain in two
'Cause I'd rather get a hundred thousand paper cuts on my face
Than read one more post from you...

I'd rather rip out my intestines with a spork
Than read you spewing out your crap
I'd rather slam my fingers in a door (yah)
Again! and again! and again! and again! and again!

Oh, can't you see what I'm tryin' to say, mixxy..

I'd rather watch Nate McMillan coach this team forever (forever)
Shove an icepick up my urethra, that too
I'd rather clean all the bathrooms in the Rose Garden with my tongue
Than read one more post from you

Yes, I'd rather jump naked on a pile of rusty thumbtacks
Or stick my nostrils together with crazy glue
I'd rather dive into a swimming pool filled with double-edged razor blades
Than read one more post from you...

I'd rather rip my heart right out of my ribcage with my bare hands
and then throw it on the floor and stomp on it 'till I die...
    *Squeak!*
Than read one more post.....from you...oooooooooh yea....

I wasn't a fan of Jaynes even when he was in his "prime." In this case, however, I think the blind pig stumbled across a truffle.

As Hasoos stated, the current problem isn't injuries, it is focus and effort. When the team was short-handed, it was understandable that they would have games where they were tired and flat emotionally. That excuse is played out.

Right now, the Blazers don't look like a team fighting for the play-offs - they look like a team that just wants the season to be over. The Camby deal should have been seen as a vote of confidence. It should have fired the team up. It doesn't seem to be working.

The Blazers top two players had off nights and yet the Kings struggled to keep it close. A case can easily be made that it was the Kings who got lucky that they were even in the game.

Couldn't agree more. Both of those guys. . .
It seems basketball is an afterthought sometimes. . .
One has no fire in the belly, the other seems content to walk around and forego playing D.

Just going through the motions "earning" my Millions of dollars.

If I was Paul Allen I'd be pissed with my 'employees' and be looking to ship out their sorry asses for someone who leaves it all on the court and looks to win at all costs.
