How convenient. The Ducks make it to the Rose Bowl...and all of a sudden, every player on the team is getting accused of something. Of course, only the cynical and paranoid would suspect that this was a campaign to destroy the program. Stuff like that neeeeever happens.
lol yeah masoli was framed..it was his long lost twin in the frat house...it wasnt really kirko alonso driving drunk..and that jamere holland facebook was def an imposter
Please. I went to college in the 70s. Do you think the world was a more law-abiding place back then? At the least, drug use was more rampant then it is now. Back then, the team sucked on the field....and nobody cared if the players were little angels. They were treated like any other random bunch of college kids. Now that the team is good, suddenly everyone is all over the program with a microscope. Back then, jocks got busted for drugs, and fans at other schools never said one word. Now, the sanctimonious gloating is everywhere. The name Stu Jackson ring a bell? He got kicked off the Duck basketball team - not just for having/doing drugs, but for supplying them to a younger team-mate. Today, he is the vice president of the NBA. Don't try to tell me there is no double standard at work here. If the Ducks were still cellar-dwellers, these stories wouldn't attract any attention.
