Exactly. Turkoglu is a somewhat average television with some cool features that costs as much as a 60'' plasma due to name brand.

It may be a nice conversation piece for someone who has money to blow, but it doesn't make much sense for most people.

There will be no "first takers". Toronto is stuck with Hedo for most of the duration of his contract. No joke. The only way to trade Hedo is to trade him for an equally average player on an equally bad contract - problem swap. You won't be able to simply "dump" the contract to be rid of it. You will not be able to trade for value. Thus, the team will most likely decide the lesser of all evils is to just keep him.

That would have been a HUGE mistake if Hedo signed here. Pritchard got extremely lucky on that one. I honestly wasn't happy with the Miller signing either, but it's looking better now. If we hadn't signed him, we wouldn't have been able to get Camby.

Not sure if this was brought up in the Blazers/Raptors game thread, but there was a woman at the game tonight that had a sign that read "Dear Mrs Turkoglu, thank you for Andre Miller."

    Awesome.

That was likely was brought up in the game thread, but I was at the game, so I don't know and I'm too lazy to look that shit up.

Canzano doesn't understand that people boo Hedo because he lied twice about signing here - not because of his wife. The wife is just a funny story about Hedo possibly being whipped. Canzano also thought Hedo was only making 33 million. Silly Canzano.

We boo Hedo because he rejected us. And that matters to me. But in all honesty, all he was worth was a boo during the starting lineups. Not every possession. Otherwise? Not truly worth our time.

I'm going to go and take him out of my signature. Finally. I was waiting for tonight. I got what I wanted. I'm done. He isn't worth one more ounce of energy from us.

It was the Raptors. The fans needed something to get excited about.
That busted me up. In just about any other arena, he'd probably have been right.
