Listen, the dude on Thursday wrote a piece on his blog about the GS game being a must win for the Blazers. Then they win and nothing. They win 3 huge games for their playoff hopes all weekend and NOTHING. I realize they are shitty teams but man, you cant make that comment on thursday and not give credit. I like Dwight Jaynes blog but that was very disappointing to see no response from him at all.

Gavin is leaving? Let's start the parade! Maybe if we're lucky, he'll take Chode too.

Dwight Jaynes is terrible to listen to. His voice was not made for radio. At least Gavin was fresh and not a douche all the time. I won't be tuning in on the drive home in the morning. I'll be sticking with Stern exclusively.

I haven't really heard him since he took the promotion to 95.5...but he always sounded professional (especially next to Isaac & Suke). I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but hope he has success.

Also, here's to hoping Canzano is next!

LOL... an hour later he responds.....

Some people were upset with me that I didn’t blog on Friday after Portland won at Golden State. I’d called them out prior to that game, talking about how important it was to break that nine-game losing streak and get it turned around down there.

Then on Friday, nothing. Well, my bad. Should have at least filed a short blog entry congratulating them on the win. It’s been a solid week of taking care of business for Portland, which you have to do when playing those teams below you in the standings. Love the way they’re playing on offense right now — excellent ball movement while getting more players involved.

This is when they’re most dangerous on offense, when they aren’t just standing around watching Brandon Roy play one-on-one. Would love to see some more intensity on defense, with more attention to contesting shots, but I guess you can’t have everything.

And I’m sorry, but there will be days when I just don’t have time for blog posts. It’s the reality of having so many jobs right now. I appreciate your support and your patience.

I agree. I dont listen to the MSP anymore because of Jaynes. I'm not a big fan of CIP either. So without Gavin, I now have zero reason to listen to The Game in the morning. I think Gavin does a good job, it just sucks that they stuck him with people that are unlistenable. Looks like I'll stick to listenting to Dan Patrick on my iphone and online from 6-9... then listen to Rome... then Wheels at Work.

I have the perfect replacement, and I'm surprised no one thought of this.

    "THE".

dude sorry man I cant stand them. They are such garbage and overall douches to listen to. And this is coming from a guy who likes Canzano. So you know I can take a lot. Its how they handle themselves.. basically they remind me of a northwest version of Stephen A Smith. Hate them hate them hate them hate them.

If you listen to Chad's weekend show, he's 180 degrees from his morning show. It's all an act, but it's an annoying act. Weekend Chad is worth listening to. morning Chad isn't (most of the time).
