It's still hard to believe he's done all he's done, and he's only 25. It seems like he should be doing this stuff when he's in his late 20's.
its a shame that he doesnt get more credit while guys like russel westbrook get his ass licked every day by the nba. take away durant ans see where his stats are.
Yeah, it is too bad he doesn't get more credit. http://www.sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155236
What's the deal with Roy's hamstring anyway. I remember he complained about it, took some games off, came back, kind of sucked, complained some more, Nate told him to play through it, and here we are now. Seems like I missed the step where Roy actually got better. Is it still bothering him but he's playing through it? Or is it healed up?
Think we all went through the same saga. I think he played through it and now finally has his game back. At first I thought he was limited physically, but getting player of the week, maybe he was fighting a mental thing more than a physical thing. How many coaches would tell their star player to suck it up and play through the pain?
I am willing to bet it is both of those. He still looks like it is a problem a little bit every once in a while - but getting over it is a big part of it as well, I am sure. Remember that he tried to come early and it "flared" on him - so he had to lose more games - maybe this is the mental part of it - where he was afraid that if he again had to play through pain - it would tighten again...
