Tom Penn fired?

Could be as simple as there being no need for Penn with cap space not a concern in the looming CBA battle. Knowing they were going to let him go, the Blazers offered him some sort of package, or they didn't. Either way, I'm guessing he passed, so why keep on a guy who won't be working here next year for another minute? I'd really like to see the terms of his contract at this point.

 

Especially after being "surprised." Something tells me he kinda knew it was coming.

 

What sucks for you, and many others, is that I have heard why. I have no idea if it's true, but it's someone that would know......Not saying they do.



So maybe it's just cause I'm ired after vacation with my kids, or whatever, but all that "deal coming soon" bullshit has got to me.
