Although I like the Marlins there like the Knicks of baseball  they have some pretty good young players but they have no veterans. How many games do you see them losing this season?

It will be a 100+ loss season. They need to find a way to get some young talent and develope them. They need to put some offense around their stud Dontrelle at least for next season.

They will lose 105 games. The Marlins have nothing they let Josh Beckett, Juan Pierre, Carlos Delgado among others. I don't understand the thinking behind this but it was probably a salary issue.

You know Dontrelle wants out. What were they thinking? They let everyone out. Beckett, AJ. They will definately finish behind the Royals in this years' standings. The only players worth a damn on that team are Dontrelle, Miguel Cabrera and that kid, Hanley Ramirez. (He is going to be pretty good).

Well when you trade all your good players (except for Cabrera and Willis) and have a $15 million dollar payroll your going to be terrible. This is a disgrace. :no3:

The Dolphins don't want them there anymore, they gotta find a quick solution and lately there have been many signs that there will be a new stadium soon.

So what does that have to do with trading away half the team?

The Marlins are not to bad, this year, they are atleast competitive. Many of the games they have lost have come because of them being a young team and not knowing how to handle late inning close games very well, especially the catchers and pitchers. They start throwing wild pitches with runners in scoring position, and letting balls that are not wild passed late in the games. Ramirez in the field has a group of errors, most of them late in the game. He is good with a bat, but sometimes not to good with the glove. If they can improve this over the summer, this will be a tough team to face. Many people say that Dontrelle Willis doesn't have much run support, but if you really watched you would see that Dontrelle Willis is pitching like crap this year and it started at the World Baseball classic. He is trying to pitch harder and overpower people this year, unlike last year when he would rely on his breaking balls a bit more, and try to use the movement on his stuff to fool people and cause them to ground out. Unfortunately it is the Major leagues, and these guys can hit fast balls. Dontrelle Willis is getting hit off of at a high rate, and has an era of 5.15, meaning for every 9 innings he pitches, the other team gets 5 runs. The young pitchers are looking good, Mitre, Olsen, Johnson and others are pitching decently for most of the games, its always one inning that hurts both. As for the hitting, this team is hitting decently. Willingham seems to be a good long term hitter at the four spot, as he has good power, and hits well with runners on base. Ramirez is a better leadoff hitter than Pierre was, he draws more walks, gets on base more, and waits for his pitch better than Pierre did. Uggla at the 2 spot, and playing 2nd base is a decent hitter. He is a very aggressive and free swinging batter with power, like Brett Boone was. Give it time and this lineup will be something to fear. This season they might not go so well, but by next season this will be a dangerous team.
