I agree. It's better you're home drinking a beer than accosting a homeless person.

    Your turn.

I can understand where you're coming from but you should let Maxie try and push your buttons. It's good practice for you. There isn't much of anything someone could say to me in here that would make me lose my temper. Piss me off sure. But that's different.

I've seen you lose your shit in here a couple of times. That means you're letting people provoke you. They're getting the best of you. You need to step back. Relax. You place way too much importance in what people say or think about you.

Think of these forums as the Willamette river in the summer time. No matter what the excuse there are always a couple of raw sewage spills into the river. Even if you don't hear a warning you just kind of assume that there might be something funky in the river. You know that if you decide to go swimming or water skiing there is a chance you could run into a floating turd.

And if you do run into a floating river turd then what? Do you scream at it? Insult it? Beat it up? No, it's a floating turd. The only thing to do is blame yourself for not being more careful because you knew there could be floating turds.

That's what this place is like, the occasional floating turd. If you lose your temper because of a turd that's on you, not them. You knew there was a chance you'd run into one when you clicked the bookmark to open this site.

How am I pushing your buttons by reminding you that you bragged about berating a homeless person during the Holiday Season? BTW, I'm not really responding to your post for you; one day you'll figure that out.

Thank you. It is hard, but at the same time, I can see her just filled with happiness when she holds my son. I can just see her glowing and it makes her so happy to see him. It makes me feel really good to see her so happy.

Dude, I suggest you start working out HARD. Run until you can't even move. Think about everything that pisses you off and use that anger to fuel your run. Challenge yourself and push yourself to your physical limits by pushing your mind. It's very therapeutic. You need balance in your life and if you aren't pushing your body, you'll swing too far in one direction or the other. Not to mention, you'll sleep a lot better.

Or join a kickboxing class or a Kempo class and really get your ass kicked. There's nothing more humbling than getting your ass beat voluntarily. It's weird, but it will set your mind straight.

One of my favorite things to do when I had a lot of anger was to go mosh at a concert. The physical exercise and punishment was great therapy. I always felt like I had a clear mind afterwards.

that's good advice. fuck therapy, fuck soul searching, just try to do things that you will enjoy. work out....take a hike, enjoy nature, just chill and relax and be laid back. listen to relaxing music. shit calms me down. I was listening to hip hop this AM in the car and i noticed I was fucking agressive all day. I listen to some jack johnson, i just relax and drive.

SSRI's have a TON of side effects. Paxil, in particular, has a bad rep.

MAOI's can make you gain a ton of weight. It slows your metabolism to a crawl.

I am on Phase 1 of p90x!!! I love that stuff!! I have completely changed my diet too. I have shed about 10 pounds of fat already and I am down to about 170 with some good strong lean muscle. Started out could only do about 8 pull ups. I am up to 20 now!

    Great idea tho.
