    They didn't have a good set play for the last 8 seconds. Did they have a timeout left to use? If they did, that was a bad call for Rice Jr.

    No, they were out of timeouts. However, 'Nova had called a timeout after the 2 made free throws, so that's a moot point. They had time to design a play, but 8 seconds to go length of the court and then get a good 3 point shot is tough, especially against a top-level Big East team.

    This is the NCAA tournament. You don't need a killer play. Just throw it up at the buzzer, and let the March Madness Magic work it's stuff!

    Think so? Those are higher profile schools that have been horrible the last 10 years. I think they go after someone more proven. There's a lot more coaches out there, even coaches at smaller schools that have NCAA tournaments wins.
