You do realize we have played horrible in just about every home game, correct? If you look at it as an insult to the Blazers it wasn't meant to be, it was me just kind of wondering because we have been horrible all year at home.
Alas, I've turned many off, in an effort to avoid insanity, but for some reason I stuck with this one, just because I literally couldn't believe what I was witnessing. But yes, I'll take it.
i accidently took a nap, only to wake up to hear randy foye killing us...wtf glad roy bailed us out tho..wheels was sounding real down lol
Roy's post game interview was refreshing. Some choice quotes: "I don't think we quite deserved it (referring to the win)." "If we play like we did tonight, in Phoenix, we're gonna get blown out."
It's obvious that Portland didn't get up for this game and was rusty from four days off. We are just lucky we played the Wiz tonite, but then again another team they wouldn't have taken as lightly most likely.
I'm pretty sure the GSW game was getting the 'ugliest ever' treatment just a week ago ... this one wins IMO.
We've been playing better at home since Roy came back. This was not a good measurement of where we're at. Next Thursday against Dallas will be a better litmus test.
It must be disheartening to the Wiz. Finally thinking they might break their 9 game losing streak, but no.
I kinda feel sorry for Foye. He will probably be best remembered as the guy traded for Roy. He was about to be the hero, at least for one night, bringing his team back after trailing the whole game, about to break their 9 game losing skid. But Roy overshadowed him yet again. I think Foye will have nightmares about Roy tonight.
I just got back from the game. What a horrible fucking game. Glad we won, but horrible game. It was so bad, that when you left the arena, you had to pay for a Chalupa and eat it.
Thanks for posting this ... maybe in the morning when I've had a chance to drink myself into oblivion, blackout, and wake up not remembering that there was a game tonight I'll give it a look and it will cheer me.
