Anyone want to pick Washington or even Jefferson (he wrote something, can't remember what it was . . . ) took a while for Lincoln to get a mention even.
i'd definitely vote for Washington, Adams (the 1st one), Jefferson. It took a lot of guts and difficult decisions to get this country going and set the course for the future. Then obviously Lincoln deserves much credit.FDR also made some bad decisions but you can't be mad at him overal because he was decisive at the right moments.both Raegan and Clinton are overrated. Raegan himself is not known to be a great president on his own accord. He had some great advisors and had the good instincts to listen to them.I'm happy with Clinton as a president, but he really wasn't responsible for the economic boom, he was simply riding a wave.Bush shouldn't be bashed too much for the economic failings, because it's failing in all industrialized nations. We've plateaued and it's hard to get economic growth out of a stagnant economy with rising oil prices.I'm not happy with the way he handles budgets though. With welfare etc being drained and military budget sky high, even though that isn't doing us any good.

I doubt you know anything about Reagan, please give me a few paragraphs on why he was the best President.

"Reagans the best prez ever and i read books and watched movies on him, but i can't tell you anything about him..."
You are correct. I dont feel like typing out 3 paragraphs on why he was such a good president. I have better things to do..
Like what? You could easily have typed it out in a couple minutes or the time you've spent in this thread telling me i'm wrong.
Reagan was an announcer, actor, and columnist before he got into Politics. Thankfuly, he beatout Jimmy Carter in his 1st election. When Reagan started his presidency the econmy was horrible, and declining. Unemployment was a consequence of the low economy. He told the nation, "better days were ahead"(I think thats that quote). By 83' the economy was already on the way up. Reagen appointed Sandra Day O'Connor to the supreme court. She was the 1st women in the supreme court. Alot of people actually got on Reagans boat, once he was wounded. Reagan was known as the "Great Communicator" and he went on TV to ask the viewers for their support for a part of legislation. When he was elected he was the oldest president ever elected, at 73 years old.
Since Presidents have little effect on the economy...if you take that out of the equation...he didn't do much of anything...
Screw Bill Clinton, I hate him, he is a fag, he is the reason my country got bombed, because we were trying to get our land back from the Shiptars aka Albanians, which is ours, and he tells NATO to bomb us, when lots of Serbs died, he was involved in every conflict containing Serbs, and screwed us in many ways possible, so F*ck that fag. Bush is also a fag too supporting the Albanian cause in the region of Kosovo, screw that dumbass. I say Truman for giving Draza Mihajlovic the medal for saving 500 American soldiers.
Hey guys I'm going to make this thing that shoots lasers and that'll protect us from nuclear arms trust me it'll work let's pour tons of money into it.But anyway, yeah, I'd say Lincoln and FDR are pretty good choices. FDR was pretty moderate from what I understand, he put a lot of social reforms in effect which we still use today, helped get us out of the Depression, etc. As for Lincoln, he's somewhat of a legend... no one really talks trash about him. I have a hard time believing he was as perfect as he was made out to be, but he did make some major strides for America.Clinton was an ok president, but he mostly just flew under the radar in a time of peace and "good" economy.
FDR is a good choice.. Truman was an idiot, he dominated Japan w/ a friggin' atomic bomb.. wasn't FDR the one that started the concentration camps for the Japanese too? hahahaoh well of course you have to say Honest Abe or George Washington.. they did stuff for us other presidents can't ever do again..i think it comes down to three: abe/washington/FDR.
Go Gerald Ford!I say Franklin Delanor Roosevelt is probably tops of the newer age presidents. Abe, Jefferson, Washington probably top the old age presidents.
