With just a few cranks of his organ grinder LeGarie has Canzano dancing around and throwing poop everywhere while the ones who have been covering the NBA for any length of time see right through the guy.

If you haven't read Henry at TrueHoop's article -

    http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/post/_/id/14423/a-new-kind-of-blazermania

and Dwight Jaynes' followup to it - http://www.dwightjaynes.com/warren-legarie-blazer-fan

read those first before reading Vecsey's - http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/nets/secretive_agent_man_r72hcvP878nbCES72MvHDM

It'd be unfortunate for Pritchard to allow his agent to cost him a great job here in Portland.

No found Vecsey's comment that Larry Miller could be the Blazers' next GM interesting huh?

That would be a huge mistake IMO.

Well, yes, but then it's Vecsey. Interesting, but very likely non-factual.

Yeah, it's all made up. I doubt KP and Penn even have an agent. I mean come on, they negotiate contracts for a living, why would they need someone to negotiate a contract for them?!?

    That Peter guy is silly.

I've already acknowledged the agent propaganda. But come on, Larry Miller? I think the idea that anyone other than Pritchard is being lined up for the job is nonsense, but saying Larry Miller is a prime candidate is hilarious. I'm can drop names, too: Isiah Thomas.

Oh, I find the idea of Larry Miller to be a horrible idea. I'm just choosing to ignore it.

This is a very interesting article. Seeing the history this agent has I am surprised he is still in business.

If Peter Vescey said it, then I'm actually more relieved than worried.

"I made a poll about KP so everything Vecsey said is made up!"

    :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Dude I like KP and think he's done a good job as GM. I'm not anti KP at all. But I post what I and others have thought was an interesting addition to a progression of articles that have occurred over the weekend and you call it bullshit because you don't agree with a conclusion from Vecsey that Miller might by trying to put himself into the GM position? And you feel this way because of a poll you made asking if KP should lose his job?

    Uh huh.

Larry Miller has been a disappointment in his current position, so I doubt he's promoted any time soon.

    Let go maybe.

GM is not a promotion from president. It's a demotion. KP reports to Larry.
It's unclear to me why Miller would want the GM position.

The poll was irrelevant to this thread, but in the thread I answered your question about whether or not I said I acknowledged the agent's propaganda. What I'm saying is, I don't think the scenario is as chaotic as everyone seems to be making it. Can one agent upturn the entire franchise? Is he the mastermind that is undoing team after team? I don't know what really got Penn fired, and I won't know until the team actually releases the truth if that ever happens.

If Pritchard's really in trouble because of this guy, then I hope he's smart enough to do something about it, because I certainly wouldn't be interested in an agent that does things without my knowledge, especially things that could jeopardize my career. Maybe KP's comfortable with that. Or maybe KP's a fool. Or maybe it's not quite like that at all.

I had no idea we were considering Reggie Miller for GM. Or was it Brad Miller?

Something I overlooked in the first read through Vescey's article that Dwight Jaynes hits on:
Blackmail? Damn, this tale just gets more and more sordid.

wait till you read the yahoo article i just posted lol....

    bye bye kpee

    heres a tasty treat

Since Penn’s firing, LeGarie has encouraged Pritchard to resign, sources say. Pritchard contemplated the possibility, but has ultimately decided to go in a completely different direction. Pritchard has requested a meeting with Vulcan officials, and is expected to speak with them this week.

After several days of scorched earth by his agent, sources say Pritchard is desperate to find a way to save his job. After months of listening to LeGarie tell him he’d be in great demand on the market, Pritchard is finding that might not be the truth.

“Pritch has figured out that all those jobs that Warren promised him aren’t there,” one GM said.
