for some reason, everytime I close the tab for s2, and then return later, I have to re-log in.

It doesn't do that for any other website I have to sign in for. I have the "remember me" tagged, and I don't have it set to clear any of that stuff in my options.

weird. That was gonna be my suggestion to run. Did you download their recent version in the last couple weeks? and if so has it just started since you used that version? I keep clicking "ask me later" lol so thats why I'm wondering.

I actually haven't used this computer for probably.....2-3 weeks +, for browsing (I had to upgrade the ram, and just got used to using a different one).

I'll try the update thing though.

I re-installed firefox (well, I updated it) and that made a huge difference. Don't know why.

vBulletin remembers you're logged in via cookies. If you're having login problems, it has something to do with those. When just about everyone isn't having problems and it's just one person (at a time) who seems to have a problem, it logically has to be something on your end.

    The likely culprits are:
    1) your cookies are messed up, clear them and try logging in again
    2) you have a virus messing with the cookies
    3) your anti-spyware software is messing with or blocking the cookies
    4) you have a firewall blocking the cookies.

    That would point to #1.

Uninstalling/reinstalling firefox must have fixed up your cookie situation.

I don't know (I'm not on that computer right now). I cleared cookies and did some other stuff, and it didn't matter. I'll tackle that later tonight when I have access to that computer again.

Not a big fan so far. At least not big enough to make me switch from Firefox. I do like how it plays video, but as someone who drives using the keyboard and drop-down menus, it's hard to get used to navigating.
