just re-watched the last few episodes of season 3. Guesses... Jessy winged Gayle and will take him hostage on the road rather then finish the deed. Gus can't afford the downtime in production and Gayle will be too freaked out and will flea this line of work for good. Gus will have no choice but to take back Jessy with Walt as his cookers, but a Walt vs Gus power struggle looms... so does the advancing Mexican cartel that Gus has been beating back. More Heisenburg please STOMP
I think that's a pretty good set of guesses there. I bet the eventual story arc winds up being something like Scarface, where a lowly guy rises from nothing but despair to run an entire syndicate, then has a cataclysmic fall.
Good guesses but I think Gayle is dead. Breaking Bad is not the kind of series that half asses things like this. Gayle got smoked, Jessie went on the run till Walt smoothed things over enough for him to come back. Im guessing the big suprises will be events that have not yet happened rather than loop holes of previous episodes. There will also be some sort of Heisenberg and Gus power struggle though. Best show on TV hands down though, I am super pumped for the season premier.
Breaking Bad is one of the best shows in television history and it's amazing that it established itself almost right away. The last season has been spectacular and the finale was amazing. Kind of got the sense that Sunday's finale was designed to possibly end the series, too. AMC have had difficulty negotiating with the show this year. There was a chance it was going to end if they couldn't reach an agreement. They didn't get it settled until August (for 16 more episodes). It didn't win any Emmy's this year because of the timing of the season but Cranston and Paul/Esposito seem like easy favorites for next time.
Breaking Bad is a very good show. Those who are missing it should netflix it or whatever. You should also do the same for Dexter and It's always sunny on Philadelphia
SPOILER ALERT It is fascinating that Walt has basically become every bit as evil as Gustavo by poisoning a child to set into motion a series of events to his own end, even if it was for the protection of his family rather than profit. The next (split) season will probably deal with the secrets Walt's been keeping from Jesse, and the boil-over between Walt and Hank, who won't be discouraged by Gustavo's death. One of the best parts of the finale was that we didn't have to worry about Skyler's side-story but I doubt they will reduce her importance in S05.
