Anyone remember when management threatened to fire PJ Carlesimo and then we finished 18-4 the rest of the season? Maybe the team will play to help KP keep his job. I still maintain we can beat the Lakers in a playoff series.

It's a distraction. I know it's your business, but not everyone likes drama.

Kobe and Shaq distracted themselves to three championships. Rodman distracted the Bulls to three championships.

And the Spurs have had a dynasty by keeping everything on an even keel. We're more like the Spurs.

True. That's what this team was modeled after. Which begs the question- when is Rudy gonna step up and be our Ginobili? For that matter, when is LMA gonna be Duncan?

Roy is our Duncan. We should call him The L'il Fundamental. I don't know who Aldridge would be, other than a young version of the almost to retirement David Robinson. As for Rudy, I think Ginobili was around 25 when he joined the NBA. Fernandez has some leash with me. I'm pretty patient.

I was going to say Roy was our Duncan but because they play different positions, I second guessed myself.

Different positions, but it's scary how alike they are. Not flashy, great fundamentals and they both have the Morgan Freeman mocha spot skin.
