Re: Bulls, Raps and Cats Playoff Run They're not that good, but they're a couple games up on the Bulls. So they'd have to really fade out. The Bulls aren't great either, and they've still got serious injury issues. I think the Bobcats are actually pretty safe, given that they've got an easier schedule with more cream puffs. Bulls: 4 gimmes (Nets twice, Pistons, Wizards) Raptors: 4 gimmes (Warriors, Sixers, Pistons, Clips) Bobcats: 6 gimmes (Wiz twice, TWolves, Pistons, Nets, Sixers).

The bulls could very easily be ahead of them by the end of next week. I wouldn't be surprised if the Raptors lose their next three after tonight.

We need to actually have a better record since they've got the tie breaker
A shorter way to put it: The Bulls Magic Number to get in the playoffs and push the Raptors out is 15. A combination of 15 Bulls wins or Raptors losses will get us there.
Bulls win in Detroit, Raptors give up a 4 point lead with about 2 minutes to go in Miami. Bulls are a half game and the tie breaker out of 8th. Raptors go to Charlotte tomorrow night. Bulls have Phoenix Tuesday. Can the bulls get it done?
It's looking possible as the Raptors implode. It's sort of entertaining how Andrea Bargnani is like a Bizarro world Eddy Curry who does nothing but shoot three pointers.
I think that's a bit unfair. His shot% on the season is close to 50 so clearly he isn't just taking threes. But yes the Raps are a hot mess and it was predictable that they would give other teams competing for the post season a chance.
