    I need an in car dvd system for Mrs. HCP's Toyota 4-Runner. Gonna take a couple road trips this summer and want to keep the kids busy. Don't need anything fancy, even the ones that the monitors strap to the headrests. Wondering if anybody has the hookup or can point me in the right direction. Holler!

    I havent had any luck with the behind the head rest style DVD players. We've had 2 of them and they always seem to break after a few months. We now use our laptop for movies for the kids during road trips. We bought an ac adaptor for the car to plug it in.

    I've bought the cheap-o Colby headrest types from Walmart. Around $100. One player, two monitors. Seems to still work a year later, although we only use them on long trips.

    I used to sneer at these things until I had my own kids. Now I think they're awesome.
