Green and Westbrook are both very good defenders ... and they are both very young to be such good defenders already.
I'm not surprised, I'm one of those weird Blazers fans who watches Thunder games because I admire/envy what Sam Presti has put together and I think Durant is a magnetic and compelling player to watch. I think your opinion of the Thunder and its players is probably far more representative of most Blazers fans.
OKC needs a physical pressence in the middle to make any noise in the playoffs. Until then they are going to be the modern day version of Run-TMC.
which is weird lol. about 65-70% of the time I have an opinion that is not that of most fans here. I.E. Kobe and the Lakers lol.
For me this is the closest I've seen yet. The first image that comes to my mind with Greg is his size and his defensive and rebounding dominance, followed by the image of how unstoppable he is when he gets the ball low in the block. I'm sorry for all the G.O. haters but Greg Oden is going to be a man among boys. Give the kid some time to play healthy for crying out loud.
Those weeks were before the injury were starting to look really good, like no answer for him good, on the boards and around the rim. In that Heat game, they resorted to sending two guys at him just to keep him off the offensive boards. Essentally commanding a double team without the ball. I can't wait to see him next year.
Whiners. I don't know if Greg is ever going to be the player we all hoped he would be on draft day, but I think he's going to be a good player and have a long career. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he's forever going to be caught up in the Durant comparison. I find people who continually revisit this decision and whine about it to be particularly irritating.
So when are you going to do a thread for Aldridge? I am sure you have multiple one words for him all probably similar or near the word "soft."
