Rose is stronger and more explosive. Wall is faster with the ball, and probably has a more well-rounded game. Both are great playmakers (Rose is severely underrated in this regard due to the Bulls' style of play this year). it's tough, so i wanna see your thoughts. Wall is being crowned as the next "Derrick Rose" by one half, and the other half is claiming he'll be much, much better. Discuss. Re: OT: The John Wall vs. Derrick Rose It's pretty obvious Rose is stronger. Wall gets bounced at every ounce of contact, whereas Rose has a stronger core (as seen by his contact-absorbing layups). Plus he's got thicker legs, so that should be a giveaway. I like Rose in terms of his scoring, but Wall's got that clutch instinct to just destroy a team. They're probably even in passing, while Wall can get that steal any second. He can really disrupt a team with his length.

And as a lifelong Bulls/Wildcats fan, I would know more than those pundits about these guys. Remember, they're also the ones who said Telfair was the next great PG. I love both these guys and you don't need some "expert" to tell you who's more athletic. Simple observation will show a few things: Rose is definitely stronger. Especially for his size. There's a reason people have dubbed him a PG Lebron James. He's definitely more explosive and gets off the ground quicker (going back again to the thicker legs statement). Wall has a better pace to his game, he's better at reading the D, and he's a little faster with the ball. As a kentucky/chicago fan, I can tell you those things near to fact. And yeah, all high school mixtapes are ridiculous, that's why their in the NBA.
